Travel By Train

Thanks for a great season, the Prairie Dog Central Railway’s Ticket Office is now closed and will open in April 2015.

Please note, we will not be running the Santa Trains in 2014.

Joelyn House Hospice Prairie Dog Central

Hitch n' Post, November 1st.  From L to R, representing Jocelyn House Hospice, Sister Jo-Ann Duggan and Rose Marie Reimer accept a cheque for $6,507.64 which was raised by the Prairie Dog Central Railway during their Great Train Robbery events in 2014. Seen presenting the cheque at The Vintage Locomotive Society's Annual Awards Banquet are Director Bryan Harmer and Catherine Duffin, Marketing Manager for the Prairie Dog Central Railway. The Prairie Dog Central Railway would like to thank all its passengers who graciously donated to Jocelyn House.

If you are having a party in 2015 why not have it aboard the Party Caboose or Ride in the Caboose during the trip to and from Grosse Isle and have exclusive use of the Caboose during the stop over.

The Prairie Dog Central is pleased to offer Private Charters for the 2015 season.

Continuing from previous years is Engineer for a Day! This is a great opportunity to pull the throttle, ring the bell, and pull the "whistle" cord on the classic diesel engine!
