Saturday September 4th Murder Express	Murder Express OH No not again! Once again a passenger is found dead aboard the train and passengers are plunged into a captivating murder investigation. Play CSI as the clock ticks down and the miles pass; see if you can identify the person or persons responsible for this wily crime before the train arrives back to the Station. Come and join the fun and suspense of this interactive train journey. Sunday September 5th Homesteaders Train	Homesteaders Train Join us as we travel through the prairies aboard the vintage train pulled by our venerable Steam Locomotive No. 3 and celebrate the people from many nations that came together to make Canada the country it is today. During the stopover there be plenty of time to visit the craft stands and savour the delicious goodies waiting to be pack up for your return journey. Monday September 6th Wizard Day	Wizard Day It's all aboard for a fun journey packed with magic, witchcraft and wizardry. The Prairie Dog Central's very own wizard will entertain you with his magic tricks and wizardry at Inkster Station, pocket magic during the train ride and will finish with a spectacular 30 minute show at the stopover. Be sure to come dressed for the occasion in your favourite enchanting outfit, prizes will be awarded for the best dressed. Saturday September 11th Hike 'n Bike Family Day	Hike 'n Bike Family Day You'll want to take advantage of this extended stopover in Grosse Isle. Bring your bikes or your hiking boots and visit the Prime Meridian Trail while keeping a watchful eye out for some of the 300 species of native flowers and wildlife set in a quiet and peaceful surrounding of the Tall Grass Prairies that has changed little over the centuries. Interpretive Tours will be available for those who choose and the folks at Grosse Isle will lay out a Farmers Market and a Petting Zoo for your enjoyment. The Miniature Tractor/ Train rides are an absolute must for the children! Whilst relaxing during the return journey to Inkster Junction Station and knowing that your bike is safely stored, one lucky passenger will win a prize to bring back memories of this wonderful day. Sunday September 12th Shelter Dog Shuttle	Shelter Dog Shuttle Hosted by the Winnipeg Humane Society the Shelter Dog Shuttle is a must for all animal lovers out there. Come and meet their furry friends and volunteers. Winnipeg Humane Society is a registered charity by volunteers dedicated to protecting animals from suffering and looking after their welfare. To show your support for everything the Humane Society do please consider bringing a 'Tin for the Bin'. Saturday September 18th Railway Fall Supper SOLD OUT	Railway Fall Supper If you love to travel by train, enjoy reminiscing and a hot sumptuous meal you won't want to miss this annual affair. The Railway Fall Supper always provides the passenger an opportunity to ride back in time on a 1900-vintage train and of course enjoy the savoury goodness of an old-fashioned home-cooked turkey supper with all the fixins freshly prepared by the volunteer staff of Grosse Isle Recreation Centre. Sunday September 26th Great Train Robbery	Great Train Robbery Your last chance! This Great Train Robbery is our last one of the year and it shouldn't be missed. You'll take part in an old-fashioned "hands up" hold up as we make our way along the line. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the bad guys and gals on horseback as they chase the train along the track. When you arrive at Grosse Isle Pepper Laing and the Lonestar Killers entertain you before we head back to Inkster Station. During the journey back to Inkster Junction Station, one lucky passenger will win a DVD player and a mystery DVD!
