The
Hitch'n Post is a unique country bar-b-que, with a large dining/reception
hall for large parties, weddings, corporate parties, and conventions.
It is located in Grosse Isle, MB and the The Prairie Dog Central is
one way to get to the Hitch'n Post.
The Hitch'n Post is open for business from April to December
Or, a company or organization may charter the Prairie Dog Central,
and have an arresting experience as a Posse from the LB Ranch chases
the train, stops it and the Sheriff gets on the train, Wanted poster
in one hand, and gun in the other, to "arrest" a predesignated
"dignitary-turned-desperado" for the day. |

west of Assiniboine Park. A.V.R. is a 3,600 foot 1.5" (1.6")
scale 7.5" gauge gauge railway on 6 acres that operates 5 open
house weekends during the summer and the light show in December.
We
currently have 3 diesel locomotives, 5,400 feet of track on the ground.
The main line is 3700 feet; with seven passing sidings. |
